Turbinado is a handwritten font family which aims not only to be legible, but also to be very friendly and versatile. It is excellent in advertising, packaging, editorial design, it is designed to create easy readability combined with the hand-crafted appearance of text and display.

The family contains three weights of textured brush casual script with textured dry variants. It also comes with two condensed all-caps styles, a hand-printed caps face and an elements set of 100 brush drawn extras. These additions involve swashes, botanicals, shells, arrows, repeatable patterns, and playful ornaments useful to blend with the fonts and further create a beautiful layout.

Turbinado exceeds the basic features to provide the advanced typographic choices. Automatic ligatures uniquely intermix consecutive letters and numbers of any text by using alternate glyphs, as opposed to single ligatures, so text can be curved, layered or recolored without restrictions. There are stylistic alternates, swash terminals and specialised ligatures (including single crossbars connecting At or Att). The condensed fonts also have an alternative glyph set to make them seem quirkier and bouncier when optional ligatures are enabled

It also offers 10+ lowercase t and double-t crossbar variants that you can use manually or with automatic insertion via contextual alternates. For the designers who want customization but with more control, the lowercase t ascenders and crossbars are in separate glyphs to give you an option to combine and form custom wordmarks.
