Sackers Gothic Font

Sackers Gothic font belongs to the Sackers line, a series of typeface derived from an engraved stationery and social card-templates of Charlotte, North Carolina intaglio printer Gary Sackers. It is based on a long tradition of making engraving models usable as fonts, same as with the Monotype Engravers series and the ITC Blair by Jim Spiece, and the Sweet Sans by Mark van Bronkhorst. Sackers Gothic was originally available as photo-set type, and digitized by Compugraphic (under the title Sackers Gothic) in the late 1980s, where it rapidly became a popular choice with designers.
Originally published in 2001 Sackers Gothic still remains popular. It is suitable for posters, dust jackets, and stationery where the readability is a concern because it delivers the best possible output. You use this typeface any project, but which requires a sophisticated typography as, due to its proportionality and balanced details.
