Perpetua Font

Perpetua by Eric Gill draws from his background as a stonecutter—those sharp, chisel-influenced details show up in distinctive letterforms like the lowercase ‘a’ with its pointed start instead of a traditional serif. Released through Monotype in 1929, this transitional serif has a quiet elegance that made it a favourite for book typography. The family includes Perpetua Titling, a display version with Roman capitals designed for headings and larger sizes.
