Bimbo Font

Bimbo is a monoline script font family designed by Francesco Canovaro for Zetafonts in 2018, expanding on the original Arsenale White typeface he developed with Italian illustrator Jonathan Calugi. The redesign adds 7 weights and over 300 new characters, bringing language support to more than 70 languages across Latin, Greek, and Cyrillic alphabets. You can see the handmade aesthetic in the casual, flowing letterforms the script maintains that handwritten feel while offering the control of multiple weights from thin to bold.
What makes Bimbo work is the built-in OpenType letter swapping feature that automatically substitutes alternate glyphs, so double letters never look identical (you can see this in words like “feel” and “letters” in the specimens). The monoline construction (uniform stroke weight throughout each letter) and open counters give it surprisingly good readability at smaller sizes despite being a script font. Canovaro designed it primarily for display use, minimal lettering, logos, and that handwritten note aesthetic. The seven weights let you adjust the personality from delicate to bold while keeping the same handmade character throughout.
